James Bullock

James Bullock is the CEO of ConSpare, the UK’s leading concrete batching plant equipment and spare parts supplier, and sister company ProSpare. After 40 years at the business, James’ mission is to create more sustainable production processes within the concrete industry to accelerate the industry's journey to net zero by using ConSpare’s expertise for the benefit of future generations. 

ConSpare is a family-run business with 45 years’ experience serving all the major concrete producers, which achieved a £10million turnover for the first time in 2022. Having been involved with some of Europe’s largest construction projects, it is the leading authority on improving the performance of concrete mixers, mixing technology and batch plant processes. As the UK cement and concrete industry generates a significant level of carbon, ConSpare is uniquely positioned to advise on creating more sustainable patterns of production to accelerate the industry's journey to net zero. 

James is also the president of the Materials Handling Engineers Association (MHEA). Appointed president in October 2022, James uses his platform to raise awareness of the environmental impact the association’s 55+ members can have,and encourage members to reduce their carbon footprint.
