Stuart Manning

Stuart is a Technical Director with Shotcrete Services Ltd with whom he has been working since 1993.  He has been involved in a number of research projects looking at early age strength of shotcrete with Imperial College, free form prototyping with Loughborough University, development of geopolymer shotcrete and currently the use of GGBS in Shotcrete with powdered accelerator to reduce embodied carbon within accelerated sprayed concrete.  He has also been involved with the development of various spraying nozzles, robotic spraying machines and general Shotcrete technology. He has been involved with the Sprayed Concrete Association since 1993 and has twice been Chairman in 2004 and 2008.
